style icon- Tina Cohen-Chang

YYYUPP! I said it! Tina Cohen-Chang, from glee, is my super secret style icon! I love her goth hipster style! I really like  how in the first and second season she has a goth look and vibe and comes off kind-of tough, but as the seasons progress, she starts to wear more colors. Her black outfits are lightened by her bright makeup and hair streaks.  I could babble on for days about her choice of outfits, so let me just get to the pictures:
random cat.... Ok, here's the pics..

Season 1- This is my least favorite outfit. This was one of the first outfits she wore on the show so I think the stylist wanted to audience to think that she is goth. I really don't think the beanie was necessary...

Later in season 1. This outfit very similar from the first, but in my opinion, shows more of Tina's personality.

Season 2. This is Tina's interpitation of a cheerleader outfit. I love the googles! I could see her wearing black creepers with
 this outfit.

Here's some Tina inspired outfits that I attempted-

Wearing cheap sweater that I don't know where I got, dress from Nordstroms,
choker made out of safety pins, and Kiss glasses.
 ..............................................................................

Wearing Cat collar by me, dress by me, skirt I think was a hand-me down and
my mom's fascinator, and I don't know where she got it.
 ..............................................................................

Wearing sweater from local cheap clothing store, cousins toddler dress
(as skirt), and choker that I made out of a headband and safety pins.

Style Spark Saturday #1

(I hate tacky alliterations...)

I think the theme for these pics are super natural physic powers, with the exception of a few random ones that don't go with the rest...

Hope you liked some of my inspirational pics. Most of the pics come from google images, blogs, and tumblr. None of which are mine so if you see one of your pics and want it down, email me please.

Need a hair cut Greaser?!

(Sorry this post is a few weeks late.)

In class we just finished reading The Outsiders which is a story in the mid 1960's about greasers. A few weeks ago was honorary greaser day and we dressed like greasers and watched The Outsiders movie.

Meadham Kirchoff

Here's some cool pics I found of the WICKED AWESOME Meadham Kirchoff spring 2012 RTW.

I adore this skirt!

What I wore today:

TOP- Mom's old rolling stone shirt, SKIRT- First of all it's a dress, and I wear it as a skirt because it's too short as a dress, I don't know where I got it but I made similar Meadham Kirchoff bears and put them on it.

Lately I have been admiring these Ellery Bear Ears. I attempted to make some but they didn't turn out how I pictured-

I might cut the ears into cat ears!

I wish produce rhymed with pineapples....

Today was a very productive day. I usually dedicate my some of my weekend to fashion. I don't normally go shopping, so I try to make new clothes out of my old clothes in my spare time.  (The title of this post is very random, as you can see. I was really frustrated the other day when I was writing a poem for my project and I just typed that in.... so. ya...... )

Like today I made new collar-

I made this lego clip-

Oh and this leaping lizards shirt out of a pillowcase making kit-

And one of the best parts of today was that I was in my pajamas until 5:00 in the afternoon!
p.s.-sorry for the bad picture quality...
